Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary (HCF+S) rescues and provides forever homes for both farmed and companion animals; grows plant-based food for our rural, food desert community and distributes it via our Free Farm Stand; and advocates for humans to make sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle decisions. Our overarching goal is to create a fair and safe world for all marginalized beings.

Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary (HCF+S) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) vegan community farm and animal sanctuary in the Southern Tier of NY.

At HCF+S, we provide forever homes to animals in need as well as grow plant-based food and flowers for our community, which is located in a food desert. Everything we grow, we give away in our Free Farm Stand because we believe that food access is a basic human right. We farm using intensive, no till methods, and 95% of the work is done without machinery. We are currently focusing on extending growing seasons in our four-season climate, as well as expanding our reach in order to help more humans in need.

We are incredibly passionate about doing good in the world for humans and animals alike. Our work environment offers a relaxed, supportive environment with idyllic scenery, lots of snacks, and room to grow. If our mission and ethics resonate with you, please reach out!
