    About Us

Haitian-American Youth Reaching Out, Inc. (HYRO) is an organization that connects Haitians and other individuals interested in Haiti.

HYRO is a Haitian based youth organization that strives on equipping young people with the knowledge and tools to excel in their communities. HYRO has three main areas of focus: education, economic empowerment, and political awareness.

HYRO believes this can be done through different forms of educational methods and creative/critical thinking. HYRO believes that a strong community starts by empowering its youth to be leaders of tomorrow.

The organization embodies modern-day principles of organizing the youth and molding them to be leaders as well as keeping intact their Haitian heritage. We seek to make a difference in our community by setting examples and by creating a notion of what can be a brighter future for the Haitian community. We will also seek to foster cross-cultural participations. HYRO wants to be an innovative organization with a uniquely form of devotion to using the energy, the enthusiasm and the power of all that are positive.
