Brazilian Women's Group

The mission of the Brazilian Women’s Group is to promote political and cultural awareness, and contribute to the development of the Brazilian community. The Brazilian Women's Group organizes community meetings and workshops on topics such as women's health, domestic violence, immigration, and deportation. The Group has also developped an ESL curriculum specifically for housecleaners, and runs classes for beginners and intermediates. Since 2005, the Brazilian Women's Group has organized Brazilian housecleaners into a cooperative. The Vida Verde cooperative is run by its members, who developped their own line of all natural cleaning products.
