Our purpose is to assist youth to become the person he or she was created to be through a comprehensive program of life skills, academic, nutritional and career knowledge necessary to prepare and empower them for leadership in their communities and success in their personal lives.

BYCEM’s presenting “ALL ABOUT ME” Empowerment programs for low income students in the southeast area of Houston. Teaching high-risk students the skills to become successful in life is at the core of the “ALL ABOUT ME” empowerment programs. Our comprehensive programs include interactive learning, physical development, leadership, life skills, educational assistance, career development, vocational awareness, finance, college preparation, abstinence, self awareness, social mixers, and social media awareness. Our leadership programs are designed to nurture and develop leaders by improving self-esteem, equipping them with leadership tools and skills, thereby providing a purpose for their lives.

The three major component of the pilot program are:

• Life Skill designed to educate and encourage the participants to better handle challenges in their life, and prepare them for a productive future. We will educate the children early in life skills, relationship development, acceptable and nacceptable behavior, and more. As the children mature they will be able to make the correct choices in life and therefore reduce havoc in theirs and others lives, i.e. gangs, bullying, teenage pregnancy, etc.
• Academic assistance programs are designed to provide tutoring in selected subjects, study skills, test skills and school supplies. We will utilize many teaching methods to enhance the students learning including technology, hands on, and mentoring.
• Community Awareness where each student learns and experiences serving the community through activities that will provide assistance to the local and global community.
