The Working Families Party is a progressive grassroots party that fights for the 99%.
The WFP is poised to take advantage of this moment to translate activist energy into policies that will make people's lives better. Over the last twelve years, WFP has come to have a major role in New York political advocacy, electoral campaigns, issue based campaigns and helping to shift and change the debate.
Formed by a coalition of labor unions, community organizations and grassroots activist, our aim is to make our economy and our democracy work for all of us, not just the wealthy and well-connected. We elect progressive candidates, win groundbreaking issue campaigns and shape the debate in city halls and state capitols in Oregon, New York and Connecticut. And we're growing fast.
