Who We Serve: Teenage mothers and adolescent girls, primarily in low-income areas of Nairobi, Kajiado, and surrounding regions of Kenya. Many of these young mothers face social stigma, interrupted education, limited healthcare access, and economic hardship.

About Us:

Founded in 2019 by Patricia, a former teenage mother, Birth and Beyond is a community-based organization dedicated to creating intervention programs for teenage mothers. Since inception, we have supported over 2,000 adolescent girls and young mothers through counseling, mentorship, distribution of dignity kits and food packs, and vocational training.

Our Programs:

• 12-week Personal Development Program: Includes mentorship and counseling for young mothers recruited through community health promoters and local administration.
• Advocacy Events: Quarterly events educating communities on the social, health, and economic impacts of teenage pregnancy.
• Skills and Vocational Training: Programs in baking, beauty, tailoring, and other marketable skills to foster financial independence.

Impact & Milestones:

• Supported 200+ mothers through psycho-social counseling and mentorship.
• Distributed 2,000+ dignity kits and food packs.
• Trained 40+ young mothers in vocational skills, with over 10 completing specialized training.
• Held 35+ advocacy events raising awareness on menstrual health and teenage pregnancy.
