About Us
Mission:
To challenge and inspire young leaders through fitness and education programs.
History:
YFE was formed after severe budget cuts in California, forcing YFE’s first school partner to lose part of their fitness programming. The founders saw not only a need for more youth programs, but intentional and data-driven programming that integrated sports with the importance of academics and leadership. After working in public education, the founders saw a great need for afterschool programming that created a safe place for students – a unique place where students could be creative and lead their own program, but one that was structured with well trained professionals, mentors, and educators.
