    Indian Association for the Blind, Madurai,India is committed to rehabilitation of the visually handicapped from the lowest strata of the rural population from early '80s.

    Towards this goal

    IAB runs a Higher Secondary school for visually impaired with a strength of over 100 children in classes 6-12

    Sends about 100 children to normal schools under integrated education

    Sends about 75 young adults to colleges

    Provides vocational training programmes

    Maintains hostel facilities for 350 students

    Offers self employment opportunities

    Provides library facilities
