    The Adult Learner Program of Queens Library offers a variety of programs to meet the unique needs of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and adult literacy students, serving an estimated six thousand customers annually.

    Services include ESOL classes ranging in levels from ESOL literacy to advanced; adult literacy and English conversation groups led by staff and volunteer tutors; Pre-GED classes; Family Literacy Program; Health Literacy Program; Computer Literacy Classes; Computer-assisted instruction; and a large collection of Adult Basic Education (ABE) and ESOL materials, such as books, cassettes, and videos which are used by students participating in the guided self-study program as well as are available for loan to students, teachers, and educational institutions.
