About Us
MinKwon Center for Community Action was established in 1984 to empower the Korean American, and broader Asian American and immigrant communities to achieve economic and social justice for all. Through immigrant rights, services, and political empowerment. the MinKwon Center has emerged as a leading organization in building a sustained community for marginalized individuals, including recent immigrants, minorities, low-income residents, limited English proficient individuals, and the elderly and youth.
The MinKwon Center works to achieve its mission through five program areas:
- Social Services
- Legal Services (immigration and housing)
- Advocacy and Organizing
- Civic Participation
- Youth Empowerment
