About Us

Cooperative Extension partners with communities to deliver education and technology that enrich the lives, land and economy of North Carolina. The Durham County Center is composed of the following program areas: childhood development (Welcome Baby Family Resource Center); youth development (4-H program, Kids Voting Durham); health and nutrition (family & consumer science); agriculture and horticulture, and building community capacity (Durham County ACCESS).

Provides services to Durham County residents of all ages. Program includes classes on various topics from parenting to nutrition; clothes for children under five in Welcome Baby Family Resource Center Giving Closet; 4-H clubs and camps; Kids Voting - learning about the political process.
