Habitat Resource Network of Southeast Pennsylvania

  • About Us

The Habitat Resource Network of Southeast Pennsylvania (HRN) is a volunteer organization dedicated to sustainable landscapes for wildlife and people. We offer site visits by National Wildlife Federation (NWF) certified Habitat Stewards to advise on the creation of a NWF certified wildlife habitat. Schoolyards, workplaces and public sites can also be reclaimed as valuable wildlife habitat, and we can collaborate on larger projects. HRN is also a chapter of a national organization, Wild Ones, which promotes environmentally sound landscaping practices to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration, and establishment of native plant communities (more info www.for-wild.org). Our monthly meetings and activities provide ongoing education and support for sustainable and ecologically responsible landscaping, and new members are always welcome. More information on land stewardship and wildlife habitat, including links to many resources, can be found on our website, www.habitatresourcenetwork.org. Join a community of people, and a national movement, committed to strengthening our relationship to nature and the land.
