Our Mission
Music Crossing Borders is a New York City based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission and passion is to teach children of all ages and backgrounds about music from cultures around the world.
Our mission is carried out through high energy, interactive assembly programs designed to keep students engaged and excited while exposing them to musical genres they may otherwise not have access to. Children and adults agree: experience a MCB program once and you'll be hooked!
Beginning With the Community:
Bringing music to our children both around the corner and around the world is critical to humanity! Each year, MCB partners with schools throughout NYC and the tri-state area school districts to bring our programs to students ranging from grades K-12.
International Outreach:
Beyond bringing music to the children in our community, Music Crossing Borders believes in the importance of educating the world at large! Each year, MCB teams up with other nonprofits serving under-funded schools and orphanages across the globe.
Our goal is to add value and education to the lives of these deserving children through the power of music.
