Maryland Association of Community Services

The Maryland Association of Communtiy Services is a statewide nonprofit association of agencies that provide supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. MACS is dedicated to supporting quality and full-inclusion, through advocacy, training, peer networks, and technical assistance.

Our primary functions are:

-advocacy on behalf of people with developmental disabilities and the nonprofit agencies that provide community-based services to them;

-training/education/conferences for direct support staff, supervisors and management staff of DD providers, to support knowledge, quality and best-practice; and

-peer networks for DD providers, for information-sharing and support.
