  • About Us

The Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) are the elected representatives of the UC Berkeley student body, representing approximately 25,000 undergraduate students. As the collective voice of the students, we build student power through leadership development, and through grassroots campaigns and coalitions, we fight to hold the university, city, state, and nation accountable to student needs.

Established in 1887, the ASUC is now regarded as one of the most autonomous student governments in the nation.
