KYEP(KYANKIMA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

We are a youth led initiative registered under the directorate of community based services of Wakiso district under registration number: WCBO/340/11. We are located in Kyankima community Kasangati-Gayaza road.

Our basic objective is to engage and support young people to address the most urgent problems (livelihood, health, education, poverty, peace building) facing Uganda today.

What we know.Young people are the most affected by the persistent problems facing the world today. And yet we frequently overlooked as being the ones to help work these issues out.Kyankima community has approximately two thousand youth who have not been an escape to these problems. What do we believe?Young people are the solution. We are the largest most energetic group of people in the world. When we work together with a common purpose, everything is possible. What we are here for.To channel the indisputably positive power to young people to bring about real progress. How do we do it?We are to train, educate, support and inspire young people to lead development in their communities We make young people make responsible choices about their health and livelihoods.We give them skills they need to contribute positively to society
