  • About Us

The original MATE project - which this program is a continuation of - was born three years ago out of the bilateral cooperation between ITEC Iguazu and Niagara College; financed by CIDA and the Misiones government through the ministry of culture and education. The MATE project’s aim is to enable the Guarani community to participate in capacity building activities needed to develop the community’s skills, the possibility of conducting self-sufficient cultural tourism, and participate in the labor market. Our mission is to increase the participation of the Guarani community in the labor market and provide them with the tools to manage a self-sufficient tourism enterprise.
