Transport Central

The mission of Transport Central is to plan, develop and provide transportation resources for our underserved rural 19-town area. Our focus is to provide DOT-approved volunteer drivers to transport any qualified person in our catchment area to hospitals, medical appointments, and other essential appointments. Our programming is conducted in coordination with local Senior Centers to the maximum extent possible.

Transport Central is a nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to providing non-emergency medical transportation. Our goal is to ensure that community members—particularly seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans who do not have access to reliable transportation—can get to essential healthcare appointments safely and on time.

Through the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and partners, we reduce barriers to care, help improve health outcomes, and support independence for the people we serve.
