  • About Us

Slow Food Shoreline is a local chapter of Slow Food USA, serving the shoreline communities of Connecticut. Centered in New Haven, SF Shoreline's mission is to promote good food that is created with care from healthy plants and animals that is grown and harvested in ways which have a positive impact on the planet, and that is accessible to all. We will be organizing events that foster relationships between food consumers and food producers, that educate people in food production, preparation, and preservation, and that bring together concerned citizens on local food initiatives and issues.
