Saturday Math Club @ UP Boston

UP Academy’s Saturday Math Club provides middle school students who are significantly behind their peers in mathematics with remedial tutoring in a one-on-one or small group setting. UP Academy is located in South Boston and opened its doors to nearly 500 students in grades 6-8 in August 2011. To learn more about our school, please visit us at http://www.upacademyboston.org/

We’re seeking passionate volunteers who are interested in joining our Saturday Math Club Tutoring Corps. Tutors commit to one cycle of tutoring (7-9 consecutive Saturdaymorning sessions) from approximately 9-11:30 am. Tutors are typically paired with the same 2-5 students each week and all tutoring materials are provided by the program coordinators. All new tutors attend a brief orientation the morning of the first tutoring session. The tutoring starts 9/21 and the remaining dates can be found at the top of the form that is linked below.
