The Nocturnists

  • About Us

The Nocturnists is a medical storytelling live show and podcast where healthcare workers share stories of joy, sorrow, and self-discovery. Since 2016, we’ve produced over a dozen live performances in the Bay Area and New York City. In 2018, we launched The Nocturnists podcast and have since produced 70+ episodes over three storytelling seasons, an ongoing Conversations series, and three audio diary series. This year, our Black Voices in Healthcare series was selected as an Honoree of the 25th Annual Webby Awards and our Stories from a Pandemic series was acquired by the U.S. Library of Congress. Our work has been featured on CBS This Morning, NPR’s Morning Edition, Snap Judgment, Pop Up Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Magazine, and the Bay Area Science Festival.
