Mission
To develop and implement programs and services designed to meet the area's needs for crisis intervention and the primary prevention of mental illness, self-destructive and suicidal behavior.
About Us
24-Hour Crisis Intervention/Suicide Prevention Hotline-Community Education Program - provides lectures and workshops on a variety of mental health topics for schools, community organizations and civic groups. Support Line - provides support for individuals who are physically and/or emotionally isolated. Training and Technical Assistance - Crisis Counseling Training is open to staff from other agencies. After-Hours and Weekend Back-Up Services - provides emergency after-hour and weekend back-up services for the runaway programs and many other service agencies in Suffolk County.
