There are thousands of stray animals and only one intake shelter in Beaumont. We work with Beaumont Animal Care, the city's municipal shelter to increase live outcomes through movement of animals to other areas of the country where there is demand (transport), also in a robust adoption programs, spay and neuter partnerships, animal advocacy and community education. We are determined to make Beaumont a No-Kill city! (which is defined as a 90% live release rate)
We’re not your average rescue. We act as a safety net for our municipal shelter, to save the animals who have no other options. We receive a list of animals who will be euthanized and we review and save as many animals as we can We use foster homes and bus the animals (transport) to no-kill shelters nationwide and in Canada. We know that saving lives is a community effort, and we’re committed to saving the lives that others won’t- which is why we specifically take neonatal or "bottle baby" kittens, nursing moms, dogs and cats with illnesses or injuries, and those with behavior issues. We try to heal both their bodies and minds to make them adoptable. We are committed to developing programs alongside our local shelters, and together, we will work to save even more lives.
