Cantors Assembly

Judaism has a dual ministry of the Rabbinate and Cantorate. The Cantors Assembly promotes the latter, serving its members and the synagogues that employ them by supporting colleagues in their roles as vibrant, engaging, vital clergy and musical leaders.

Beyond offering its members opportunities for mentorship, professional development and personal growth, the Cantors Assembly (CA) also provides essential services such as placement, insurance and retirement planning.

Affiliated with Judaism’s Conservative movement, the CA serves congregations from across the denominational spectrum. It seeks to ensure that members are fully prepared to lead synagogues and the whole Jewish community through an ever-evolving musical and spiritual landscape.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Akron office team as the Placement Coordinator. Applicants need not be Jewish, but are expected to be respectful of our faith and its practices.
