    HIAS Chicago offers a broad spectrum of pre-and post-migration services including providing assistance with consular authorities and U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, helping clients understand the U.S. immigration laws and procedures and locating long lost friends and family members. In addition, the program actively advocates for the rights of refugees and immigrants on national, state and local levels and educates the public about the benefits immigrants bring to our community.
