Mission
MLC PTSA’s mission is to develop community and ensure that any opportunity available through MLC is available to any student, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. We are stewards of these fundraising dollars and will spend them in a way that benefits the greatest number of students.
About Us
Metropolitan Learning Center is an alternative K-12 Portland Public School in NW Portland with 49 years experience providing an alternative program that prioritizes hands-on, experiential and inquiry-based learning; MLC gets out and about, using Portland and the greater Pacific Northwest as our classrooms. Using cross-aged academic programs, MLC’s curriculum is supported through character development and direct service to our community in local organizations and businesses.
