Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies

  • Mission

Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies partners with grantees across the United States and Israel to drive systematic change that will build more just and inclusive societies.

In the U.S., we work to advance racial, gender and economic equity through investments in criminal justice, democracy and voting rights, K-12 public education, gender and reproductive equity, and our hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma—alongside efforts to nurture a more joyful and diverse Jewish community. In Israel, we support a secure homeland for the Jewish people, a thriving democracy and a society that cares for its most vulnerable. Guided by our founders' belief in pursuing justice and repairing the world, we invest in leaders, organizations and public policy that drive lasting systemic change.

    About Us

Charles and Lynn Schusterman established the foundation in 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2021, the organization became Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, a name that reflects the full breadth of the family's philanthropic and advocacy work. Today, under the leadership of Stacy Schusterman, we collaborate with grantees, experts, civic institutions and governments to open pathways to greater equity and inclusion.

Our team brings together a wide range of professional expertise, cultural backgrounds, lived experiences and perspectives. That diversity strengthens how we listen, partner and act on our commitment to ensure all people are treated with dignity and respect.
