To provide a supportive, inclusive space for entrepreneurs and their communities to gather and connect, where they can work through business challenges and identify opportunities to build an economy that works for everyone".
1 Million Cups is a free, national program designed to educate, engage, and connect local entrepreneurs. Developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in 2012, it is based on the idea that entrepreneurs discover solutions and engage with their communities over a million cups of coffee. Our local chapter is run entirely by a team of passionate volunteer community organizers who serve as the "front door" to our city's startup ecosystem.
Our Values
We foster a supportive, inclusive, and, most importantly, a community-led environment designed for honest, non-judgmental connection among entrepreneurs.
Whom We Serve
Our focus is supporting local, early-stage, and aspiring founders, alongside community members, mentors, and advisors who want to foster growth.
