Serving those in need, with food, clothing, medical assistance, and vocational training that encourage independence.

    About Us

Family Rescue Center is a faith based organization that was created in 1998. We do not discriminate and serve all in our community. The FRC serves unhoused individuals and families in need in the West San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles by providing food, clothing, medical and vocational training assistance, as well as referrals as needed. Our ultimate goal is to sustain people in desperate circumstances, empowering them to achieve personal and financial independence.

We have continued our goal of serving our community with food, clothing, providing vocational scholarships, and having events throughout our 25 years that benefit the families, such as Backpack Distributions, Thanksgiving Meals, and a Christmas Toy Distribution. We also have the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Clinic arriving once per month. Our goals and objectives are to sustain people in desperate circumstances, empowering them to achieve personal and financial independence. We continue to place emphasis on Vocational Training and Education, as well as Telehealth. One of our Board Members has created a Mentoring Program mentoring Seniors in high school and Adult Family members. This program began in 2023 with the intent to provide tutoring and financial education. One West Bank and Morton Capitol is looking to provide Financial Training for our clients.
