The Survivor Stories Project

Hi! I'm Sara, the founder of The Survivor Stories Project- a nonprofit dedicated to helping sexual assault survivors by providing coping tools through a mobile app. I'm a rape survivor myself, and this organization uses my personal experience alongside clinically backed data to help the millions of sexual trauma survivors who are overwhelmed by post-traumatic symptoms. Using a mobile app called SARA (sexual assault recovery assistant) we deliver evidence-based coping tools to users to help them feel safe and grounded in moments of duress as well as build long term healing skills-completely free of charge and anonymously. Unlike other self care apps, SARA is made for survivors by survivors, all content is mental health professional approved, and free of charge.
