About Us

Robert K. Greenleaf founded the nonprofit Greenleaf Center (first called "The Center for Applied Ethics") in 1964. The mission of the Greenleaf Center is to advance the awareness, understanding and practice of servant leadership in students, workplaces and the larger community.

Through collaborative and inclusive programming and conferences we help people uncover their leadership potential through their natural desire to serve others.

The Center's immersive and interactive programming is specifically designed to serve students, workplaces and the community. As we continue to deliver on our mission, we provide meaningful experiences that make servant leadership personal. Our organizational consulting work, conferences and convenings and new student-focused initiatives are designed to make servant leadership more than an academic subject.
