    Founded in 2007 at the Rutgers School of Social Work, the Center on Violence Against Women and Children strives to eliminate physical, sexual, and other forms of violence against women and children and the power imbalances that permit them. We accomplish our mission through a collaborative approach that focuses on multidisciplinary researcheducation, and community engagement.
