  • Mission

    The Vision Rehabilitation and Technology Expo Association (VRATE) is a 501.c.3 nonprofit organization working across a diverse group of community partners to increase educational, employment outcomes and the quality of life for Arizonians who are blind, low vision or DeafBlind. The Association is responsible for planning and executing the annual Vision Rehabilitation and Technology Expo (VRATE) The annual conference creates a positive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in educational tracts developed to meet the needs of the community including children, young adults, adults, and seniors. Exhibitors showcase products that increase inclusion at home, in school and work.

    About Us

    VRATE 2025 will mark our 29th year of bringing the people of Arizona and throughout the Southwest together who are blind, low vision, and with combined hearing/vision loss.

    Each year, VRATE brings together more than 1,000 individuals who are experiencing vision loss, their friends and family from across the State of Arizona for a day full of networking, learning and the opportunity to experience the life-changing assistive technologies available today.
