    Madison International Partners (MIP) celebrates the rich diversity of many international students, visitors, and residents in Madison, Wisconsin. MIP provides a “home away from home” to internationals in Madison and allows Americans to “travel the world without leaving Madison. The mission of Madison International Partners is to offer an in-depth cross-cultural experience to Americans and internationals living, studying, and working in Madison. Through our various programs and activities, we create the conditions for international experience-sharing and gaining a better understanding between people of different races, cultures, religions, and social backgrounds

    About Us

    Madison International Partners (MIP) is a non-profit organization in Madison, that extends welcome and hospitality to internationals, helps raise global awareness, promote global citizenship, and foster better understanding between people of different races, cultures, religions, and social backgrounds. MIP offers a dozen of programs and activities that serve about 4,000 international visitors, refugees, international students, visiting scholars, their spouses and children each year in Madison. The programs and activities which include Global Spouse Connection, International Cooking and Dinner, International Friendship Partners, Airport Pick-ups, Temporary Hosting, Thanksgiving Hosting, Picnic, Christmas Party, and Fields Trips, address most of the common challenges that internationals face such as culture shock, language barriers, homesickness, sense of belonging to the community, and connecting with Americans. Some of the programs run throughout the year while others run on a periodic basis.
