Sueno Yoshida Foundation
The Sueno Yoshida Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established in 2012 and incorporated in the State of Florida. The Foundation provides educational opportunities, tools, and support to youth, and offers scholarships, aviation art contests, instruction, publications, lectures, youth training, and other educational activities.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with approval from the Internal Revenue Service in the U.S. to issue tax-deductible receipts for private gifts received to support the Foundation's program. We create individual philanthropic solutions for each donor that best serve their specific interests, goals and needs.
Mrs. Sueno Yoshida, a resident of Kobe, Japan, owned a successful business, and was known as a leading figure in promoting equality of rights for women in her community in the late 1970’s. It was her philosophy to encourage other men and women to be educated in college and graduate schools. The Sueno Yoshida Foundation honors her memory and continues her work to assist students to further their education at an accredited educational institution.

2019 Jeffrey Scott Davey Aviation Art & Science Contest for Ages 7-18:
THEME: “My Flying Machine” - Imagine yourself to fly the aircraft as a test pilot!
FORMAT: Visual, Creative & Performing Arts and Sciences including drawing, painting, music, photographs, poetry, scientific discovery, computer-generated imagery, etc.
AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from each of three age groups (Ages 7-18) receive a certificate and a prize including a $50.00 Visa Gift Card, art supplies, etc. In addition,
MULTIPLE GRAND PRIZES: Two (2) round-trip airplane tickets in the U.S. for a G. P. Winner (Some restrictions apply). ALL ENTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A PRIZE OR GIFT.
2. 2019 Sueno Yoshida Scholarships (Individual Award Amount:
Minimum $750 to Maximum $1,500) - will be given to a graduating high school senior student (s) who has/have demonstrated academic excellence with the ability to produce creative arts and writings.
3. 2019 Jeffrey Scott Davey Scholarships (Individual Award Amount: Minimum $750 to Maximum $1,500) – given to a graduating H.S. senior student(s) who has/have demonstrated academic excellence with artistic talent.
4. 2012-2014 Jeffrey Scott Davey Art Award Winners in Northside Elementary School, Florida (Individual Award Amount: $1,000).
All Applicants, graduating high school senior students, who wish to attend a two-year or four-year college, must submit required documents including Application Form and 2019 Jeffrey Scott Davey Aviation Art Contest Entry Form with the original work in art and/or science.

As a part of its mission, the Foundation provides interpretation and translation services for the Japanese language to citizens of the U.S. or Japan. The specializations include Interpretation and simultaneous interpretation (Conferences, Court Cases, Video Interpretation/Translation, Depositions, Press Conferences, Teleconferencing, etc.) and general Translations (standard, technical, advanced, certified, etc.) and Website Translations.
