    Bestwork Industries for the Blind, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people who are blind by providing training and employment opportunities in a supportive work environment.

    About Us

    Bestwork Industries for the Blind, Inc. is the largest employer of people who are blind or visually impaired in New Jersey. Founded in 1981 by Jim Varsaci, a veteran who lost his sight in WWII, the nonprofit organization addresses the staggering 70% unemployment rate for people who are blind by making their training, employment, and career development a priority. Bestwork’s core competencies include textile apparel manufacturing, kitting/packaging/light assembly, document scanning and digital imaging, and e-Commerce.
