ACLU of Kansas
The American Civil Liberties Union of Kansas, as an affiliate of the national American Civil Liberties Union, is dedicated to preserving and advancing the civil rights and legal freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The ACLU of Kansas works in the State legislature, the courts, and local communities to protect the rights of all people living in Kansas. Our primary focus is on ten key issues: reproductive rights, racial justice, LGBT rights, First Amendment rights, immigrant rights, voting rights, criminal justice reform, government surveillance, economic justice, and government transparency.
The ACLU of Kansas Foundation is responsible for our legal, education, and communication efforts. The ACLU of Kansas Union is responsible for our lobbying and legislative work.
