    The Jefferson SPCA is a 501-C3 non profit, all volunteer organization committed to the animals of Jefferson Parish. Founded in 1980, the JSPCA has offered Low Cost Spay/Neuter vouchers and recently provided $75,000 to help fund the Friends of the Jefferson Animal Shelter "Be a Lifesaver" Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program.

    Our present direction is to focus on reducing the number of animals that enter the 2 Jefferson Parish Animal Shelters and the goal of bieng "Committed to making Jefferson Parish a Community where "Every Pet has a Home"
