  • About Us

The mission of the Women’s Center is to promote and advocate for gender equity and social justice on campus and in the larger community, through educational programs and services, which allow all individuals to nurture an equitable, inclusive and compassionate society.

The UW Women's Center Making Connections Program is a college-readiness program serving 101 Seattle high school students during the 2014-2015 academic year. The primary mission of Making Connections is to increase college enrollment and career interests in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. One hundred percent of our students are low-income, and most are the first in their family to attend college.
