    Established by Bill and Joyce Cummings in 1986, Cummings Foundation primarily supports nonprofits in Middlesex, Essex, and Suffolk counties in Massachusetts. It awards more than $25 million annually and has granted $280 million to date. The foundation operates two not-for-profit senior living communities: New Horizons at Choate and New Horizons at Marlborough. Another of its subsidiaries is Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
