The mission of Housing & Community Services of Northern Virginia, Inc. is to: "provide housing-related and other community services and advocate the need for affordable, decent, and accessible housing to improve the quality of life and promote self-sufficiency for households in need." · Households should have access to decent, affordable and accessible housing. · Households should have access to the means and supports to become self-sufficient. · The advocacy process should educate and involve the community. · HCSNV services should be of high quality, affordable, and accessible and evaluated on an ongoing basis. · HCSNV infrastructure should support agency services and operations and should be evaluated on an ongoing basis.
