SparkShare

SparkShare helps teams of young people (ages 15-19) build the skills and make the connections they need to become powerful agents of change in their communities and in their own lives. We do this by building and strengthening a diverse network – youth, community leaders, educational institutions and businesses across Greater Boston – that provides our members with a forum and an ongoing process for working together and empowering the next generation of active, engaged citizens. SparkShare enables young people to build confidence as problem solvers, while simultaneously engaging them in creating solutions with partners who can broaden their reach.

Our growing group of youth partners come from diverse communities: Brighton, Cambridge, Dorchester, Needham, Quincy, Roxbury, South Boston, Waltham, and Woburn. The SparkShare Network activates at our twice-yearly Summits where our youth and adult members come together to learn, share ideas and best practice, and spark collaborative efforts. Together they are addressing challenges ranging from youth employment, to mental health and substance abuse, to racial equity.
