Educate the public on the threats to our democracy

NIPS has launched a campaign to educate the public on threats to our democracy. We are 501, c,3, founded in 2004 have organized and supported various public education campaigns since then. We shifted our base of operations from MD/DC to Tucson last year when a Board Member relocated. In MD, we had organized the BIPOC MOCO Green New Deal Internship for several hundred high school youth in Montgomery County, MD. During the 2000's we organized 85 residential peer support workshops for returning US veterans of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. We were honored in the Pentagon as one of the top five nonprofits serving veterans.
