UNION COUNTY COMMUNITY SHELTER

  • Mission

The Community Shelter of Union County provides Emergency Shelter, Food, and Rehousing. Our low-barrier services support equitable opportunities because safe, affordable housing and food security are basic human rights.

    About Us

The Community Shelter of Union County is the only homelessness services provider in Union County. We aim to end homelessness and hunger in our community. We do this through three main programs: Emergency Shelter, Food, and Rehousing. We continue to grow in our programming and our structure to better meets the needs of our shelter and community clients. Volunteers and donors help us to make an even bigger impact on our community! There are a ton of ways to get involved at the Community Shelter: by serving, providing or sponsoring meals, serving in our drive through food pantry, working special events/fundraising events, picking up furniture donations, helping clients move into housing, and more!! We have opportunities for individuals and groups, age 10+. Consider us for your volunteer work!
