    Our mission is to promote healthy aging through a three-fold approach: lifelong learning, active lifestyles and volunteer engagement. Our vision is to see that adults age 50 and older across the country have opportunities to pursue vibrant, healthy, productive and meaningful lives. We seek to positively impact their lives through partnerships to share knowledge, offer evidence- and research-based programs, conduct evaluations and adapt to meet the needs of diverse audiences.

    About Us

    OASIS provides educational programming and meaningful volunteer opportunities for adults over the age of 50. Classes are offered in all areas of San Antonio in the Arts & Humanities, Health/Wellness, Fitness, Consumer Interest, Computers/Technology and local interest Day Trips and Travel. OASIS has over 300 volunteers that participate in inter-generational tutoring, teaching classes, working in the office, special projects, fundraising, site coordination, and much more!
