  • About Us

    Mission

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum, which creatively integrates running.

Overview of Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run Louisville meets two days a week for 1.5 hours after school for 10 weeks, starting the week of September 2, 2014. At the end of the season, teams will celebrate together at The GOTR Fall 5k, November 22nd, 2014 @ Waterfront Park. Over 300 GOTR girls will cross the 5k finish line!

What Girls on the Run IS NOT:

A competitive running program (running activities are used as a medium for teaching life skills and promoting healthy outcomes) A program that directly targets health issues such as obesity, pregnancy, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
