TARRYTOWN VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS
Mission
Since 1967, the Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC) has provided the Village of Tarrytown with reliable emergency life support service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our volunteers get training in Emergency Vehicle Operations, can become certified Emergency Medical Technicians, or help us in a variety of different ways.
We need people to help with Website development, fundraising, community outreach and many other areas.
About Us
The Challenge
TVAC operates with no money from taxes. It depends on the donations of local residents and businesses, as well as insurance recovery, to maintain equipment and cover the costs of operation. But TVAC is dependent on the goodwill of volunteers to keep the Ambulances running and provide quality care to our residents.
