  • Mission

    AAFEO is a Phoenix based 501c 3 nonprofit agency whose mission is to reduce the recidivism through active engagement and community embeddedness.

    About Us

    Our purpose is to assist ex-offenders in maintaining and staying out of prison/jails by providing direct assistance, information as well as resources to help adults and juvenile prevention as well as intervention with all aspects of reentry into society.

    Such purposes include but are not limited to:

    1. Assisting men and women leaving various

    prison/ institutions transition successfully back

    into their communities. Provide them with the necessary skills and tools needed to become

    self-sufficient and valuable members in society.

    1. To reduce the recidivism rate of individuals returning to prisons.
    1. Provide community resources to ensure basic needs are met.

      We offer the following programs at this time with more to come:

      Mentoring/Peer Support

      Supportive Employment

      Budgeting (money management)

      Lifer's Group

      We also offer resources/assistance in a number of other areas such as:

      Housing

      Restoration of Rights

      Child Custody/Support

      Health Insurance

      Civil Warrants/Traffic Tickets

      Our Organization sits on the Governor's Council for Re-entry. We partner with other nonprofit and government agencies.
