Discovering You offers services for families, including Discovering Your Vision Family Restoration Program used to benefit any parent who needs a positive environment to learn parenting strategies and other beneficial skills for their families. Typically, all families face difficulties in life, whether financial, employment, parenting, substance abuse, or illnesses that affect their attachments and relationships. In such challenging times, they need the proper support to help rebuild a secure, healthy, and strong family bond. This program was developed with the goals of helping families at risk of separating develop the skills needed to stay together safely, lowering the foster care intake rate by decreasing child abuse and neglect among families, and providing parents and caregivers the tools needed to meet their family’s physiological, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and financial needs.

Our Discovering Your Way Youth Program is available for children and youth ages 6-18 and provides a haven to go to have positive interactions with peers and responsible adults. Discovering Your Way Youth Program consists of mentorship and enrichment opportunities for each youth can participate during after-school and summer programming that are not typically offered in their communities or schools. These activities include Youth Entrepreneurs, Tutoring Achievement, College & Career Readiness, Shine Your Light Girls’ Self-Esteem Program, and Seed-Plant-Cultivate Mentorship Program.
