lokaalmondiaal produces journalistic productions on developing countries, both online (http://www.roadto2010.com), in print (http://www.viceversaonline.nl) and documentaries (e.g. for Aljazeera and BBC World).
The foundation trains young student journalists in its Beyond (y)our World programme and tries to promote journalism about developing countries by handing out the Dick Scherpenzeel Award for best journalistic report on an annual basis.
